Sherri Greenough lives in the Rawdon Hills area in Nova Scotia with her husband, Craig. Together they operate Autumn View Farms where they raise full blood Boer goats. Her agricultural background started in childhood on a sheep farm and continued on the family’s dairy farm through decades of involvement in the livestock industry.
Professionally, she has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years including specializing in equine and farm insurance.
Her experience in business, agriculture and risk management provides a practical perspective that she brings to the board.
She has a long history of volunteer leadership and community involvement, serving as a 4-H project Leader, General Leader, County Director, Provincial Director and has also volunteered with Pony Club, Minor Hockey and Director of Equestrian Nova Scotia.
She is an active member of the Atlantic Goat Society and she’s involved in promoting and participating in the Canadian Meat Goat Type Evaluation Program in Nova Scotia.
When she is not working or volunteering, Sherri enjoys spending time with family especially the grandkids, horseback riding and caring for her goats and horses.
Sherri is honored to serve on the Board and looking forward to supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.
