Type evaluation is the comparison of an individual animal (and its parts) against the ideal Canadian Boer Goat – according to the current CMGA Scorecard and Breed Standards. CMGA employs evaluators to visit participating farms across Canada to evaluate their goats.
Through a partnership with Kentucky State University, this exciting program provides producers with measurable results on how to increase various production traits based on performance data collected by the producer.
