Showing is a great way to get out and see lots of other Boers and commercial meat goats together in one place, learn more about the CMGA Boer breed standard and scorecard, and meet lots of interesting people who also love to talk about their goats!  Many CMGA sanctioned shows are held across Canada each year. Judges Licensing Forums

Click here to download the Judges Licensing Forum Course Guidelines. Revised December 2011.  Please be advised that a Judges Licensing Forum MUST be pre-approved by the CMGA for sanctioning. The organizing committee must submit an application to the CMGA Office to host the Judges Licensing Forum at least 90 days prior to the event. The JLF organizing committee will receive a written response from the CMGA Office within 14 days of receipt of the application, advising whether or not the CMGA will be sanctioning the event.

The new CMGA Judges Guidebook contains:  CMGA Judges Licensing Rules, Ethics for CMGA Judges, CMGA Show Rules, CMGA List of Classes, General Guidelines for Judging, Parts of the Goat, Conformation Examples, Teat Structure Examples, Judging Terminology, History of the Boer Goat, CMGA Scorecards, CMGA Boer Breed Standards.
